End-of-session special report: Opportunity News

Each year, we take a look back at the legislative session and measure it by an important yardstick: opportunity.

The Bell Policy Center is committed to identifying and promoting policies that help individuals and families access opportunity and move toward self-sufficiency. We seek to promote policies that open gateways to opportunity.

By that measure, we think Colorado's legislature and governor worked together successfully on a number of key bills that protect and expand opportunity in Colorado by broadening health care coverage, expanding access to higher education for low-income students and strengthening our unemployment insurance system.
